"The vision of Caring Heart Open Arms is to embrace the joy of learning, the wonder of creation, and sow the seeds of faith which shines the brightest in a child-like heart."
I have been taking my son here since he was 14 weeks old. I chose to look at CHOA based off the positive inspections by the state (mandatory for all childcare centers), as well as voluntarily working to be a Level 3 Path to Quality, which is very prestigious and a lot of work to achieve. My child's infant teacher has a degree in early childhood development, and is also a mom. It was important to me that my newborn baby was left with someone who has the education as well as the love to care for my child. They have now grown to 3 different infant teachers and I love them all. They are big on food nutrition, and they even host food nutrition seminars for others in the state. I can't say enough good things about this place. The director Judy has done an excellent job putting together this program. I have been here almost a year and I cannot ever imagine taking my son anywhere else. I highly recommend Caring Heart Open Arms.
Caring Heart Open Arms has been the BEST childcare/head start I have ever had the opportunity to send my child! She loved ever moment of every day there, and it truly breaks my heart to move on to kindergarten. I recommend this AMAZING facility to everyone seeking a foundation for every child! Thank you to the entire staff for all of your hard and love put into my child. You all will be GREATLY missed.
My son has been going to CHOA since he was 10 weeks old. I'm a first time mom and didn't know what to expect. The entire staff has been wonderful from the very beginning. I know my son is in good hands. It feels like I'm leaving him with family.
My child has been with CHOA since she was 3. She is now 6 and going into 1st grade. I am a teacher and my poor girl is the first one there at 6:15, but I know she is loved and well cared for! She actually begged me to let her go to their summer camp next year!
Help your child to be ready for Kindergarten! Will your child turn 4 years old but not 5 years old by August 1, 2019? If so, your child may qualify for the high quality, no cost, state funded on My Way Pre-K program of which Caring Heart, Open Arms is a provider. Every child receiving a high quality pre-kindergarten program the year before they begin kindergarten is the goal of the state Office of Early Childhood and Out of School Learning!
